In the golden season of autumn, I-EP successfully hosted its annual curriculum briefing on September 29, 2024. This grand event serves not only as a bridge of communication between the school and families but also as a key window to showcase the I-EP’s educational philosophy and curriculum features. The goal of the event was to provide parents with a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the I-EP’s curriculum, educational approach, and their children's school life through in-depth exchanges and exciting presentations.This year, the theme of the briefing was “Academic First,” a new focus that drew wide attention and anticipation. The school has not only introduced a series of innovations and optimizations in its curriculum design but has also made solid progress in highlighting its unique offerings and strengths in the IB framework.
01校長見面會,共繪學術藍圖Principal's Meeting – Drawing the Blueprint for Academic Success
學術優先不僅僅意味著追求考卷上的高分,更重要的是傳承和發揚IB教育理念的核心精神——培養全面發展的學生。黃校長特別強調,I-EP的使命在于塑造具備中英文雙語溝通能力的學生,讓他們在具備全球視野的同時,能夠根植于中國文化,繼承和發揚傳統價值觀。除此之外,I-EP還注重培養學生的創新能力,鼓勵他們不斷追求卓越,并在終身學習的道路上保持熱情與動力。
課程說明會在秀麗劇院正式拉開帷幕,華外總校副校長兼創新融合部校長黃彥女士首先圍繞“學術優先”這一主題進行演講,深入闡釋了I-EP對學術追求的獨特理解。The curriculum briefing officially kicked off in the Show Theater, where Huawai Vice Principal and Head of the Innovation and Integration Department, Ms. Huang Yan, delivered the opening speech. Centered around the theme of “Academic First,” she elaborated on I-EP’s unique understanding of academic achievement.
一對一答疑,搭建家校溝通橋梁One-on-One Consultations – Building a Bridge for School-Parent Communication
在一對一答疑時間,家長們紛紛抓住這一寶貴機會,與班主任和學科老師進行了深入的個別交流。老師們耐心解答家長們提出的各種問題,從學習方法到課程安排,從學業規劃到心理健康,無一不體現出I-EP教師團隊的專業與用心。通過一對一答疑,進一步加深了家長對學校的了解與信任,同時也為孩子的成長提供了更加精準與個性化的支持。The final part of the event was the one-on-one consultation session. Parents eagerly took advantage of this valuable opportunity to engage in in-depth conversations with homeroom and subject teachers. The teachers patiently addressed all the parents' concerns, from learning methods and curriculum arrangements to academic planning and mental health, showcasing the professionalism and dedication of the I-EP teaching team. These one-on-one consultations not only deepened mutual understanding and trust between the school and families but also provided more precise support and guidance for each child's growth.
